Monsoon is also called the flu season. Monsoon arrives after the summer season. There are a few diseases that can be managed at home and also preventable.
In the following paragraphs, we will be discussing Monsoondiseases and preventive measures and how to cure those diseases.



MONSOON DISEASES

MALARIA
Malaria is spread by female mosquitoes, which is found in waterlogged territories. Symptoms of malaria are body ache, cerebral pain, weakness, fever, and retching. There may be a complication of kidney failure, low blood sugar, cerebral malaria, and severe anemia.

PREVENTIVE MEASURES
·         Cover your exposed skin and shoes can reduce the risk of malaria.
·         Apply cream to exposed skin.
·         Always sleep under a net.
·         Keep your surrounding clean and clean water tanks

TREATMENT
Malaria can be treated by general primary care doctor, pediatrician, and also by infectious disease specialist.
Most common medicines aremefloquine, quinine, doxycycline etc. but before taking medicine consult the doctor.

DENGUE
Dengue mosquito is caused by the tiger mosquito. The other name of dengue is “Backbone fever”. The symptoms of dengue are rashes, hypersensitivity, low platelets, weakness in the body, high fever, eyes pain, and red spots on the skin.

PREVENTIVE MEASURES
The person should cover his body, and protect him by the bite of a mosquito.
Spray the liquid spray directly to the mosquito.
Use net while sleeping.

TREATMENT
There is not the proper treatment for dengue, you will find relief after sometime.
Drink as much liquid as you can, and always stay hydrated.

CHIKUNGUNYA
Chikungunya is caused by the bite of Aedesalbopictus mosquito, the symptoms of chikungunya are joint pain, fever, rashes, nausea, headache, and fatigue.

PREVENTIVE MEASURES
Make sure that your Ac tray and fridge tray are clean.
Cover your body.
Keep your surrounding clean.
Cover water storage containers.

TREATMENT
There is no special treatment for chikungunya.
There is no such medicine or vaccine for chikungunya
